Maidstone Salvation Army Band leads the St Georges day parade.

Maidstone town came to a standstill in the afternoon sunshine as hundreds of people, young and old alike stopped to watch the parade as it wound its way from week Street down past the town hall where the Maidstone East District Commissioner alongside the Mayor of Maidstone, took the salute, and on to All Saints church for the annual service.
An estimated 700+ from the County Network, Explorers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers all resplendent in their uniforms marched behind our band with their own flags flying proudly in the spring sunshine. We thank God for these young people and for those who lead them each week.
